Bonaventure Ngu, MD

Dr. Bonaventure Ngu is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who is passionate about his patients and his mission to restore mobility to those that suffer from chronic back pain. His extensive training and education and his advocacy for his patients have made him a leading spine surgeon and a primary choice for patient care.

An active member of the American Academy for Orthopaedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society, Dr. Ngu received his Bachelors from Howard University and his medical degree from the University of Maryland – School of Medicine with a scholarship for 1-year of research at Johns Hopkins that focused on 3-D imaging analysis and computer programming. Dr. Ngu then completed his residency at University of Maryland Medical Center where he served as its Chief Resident in Orthopedic Surgery. He subsequently completed a fellowship with the Letterman Spine Institute in Kentucky.

After completing his residency and fellowship, Dr. Ngu joined Sadler Clinic in North Houston where he became the clinic’s Chief Orthopedic Spine Surgeon and was able to touch the lives of patients of various persuasions and conditions. Dr. Ngu then opened the Premier Spine Institute where he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the neck (cervical) and the back (lumbar), bringing relief to his patients with a commitment to quality outcomes. Through his practice and his personal touch, Dr. Ngu forwards his daily vision to provide personalized clinical and surgical care, embracing technology and education to promote the best results including his training in robotic spine surgery to give even more precise surgical outcomes.
